Meet-Me Conferrence Bridge Instructions:
- In order to schedule a conference bridge, please use the following instructions:
- Call (866)793-4179 or email your request to Conference@aptalaska.com. Please specify if the conference is to be secured or unsecured. If no preference is made, the default is unsecured; meaning callers may dial into the conference bridge at any time during the conference call period.
- There are two bridge numbers available for conference calls. The phone number for your requested conference will be issued when you call for setup or sent to you via return email confirming the schedule conference time.
- Please do not dial into any previously used numbers without confirming a scheduled time to do so.
- Meet-Me Conference is setup for a maximum of 30 conferees.
- Conferees dialing the Meet-Me Conference number from a long distance location will be charged for the call by their long distance carrier, therefore the conference bridge should be only used by three parties or more.
- The conference can be locked or secured from the Anchorage office after all conferees are present.
- If the conference is unsecured, anyone with the Meet-Me Conference number can initiate the conference.
- Users may leave the conference at any time.
- Dial the Meet-Me Conference phone number you were assigned and then listen for a ring-back tone.
- The second conferee dials the Meet-Me Conference number which opens the conference and now both parties can speak.
- A burst of tone is heard when additional callers are added to the conference.
- When requested an Internet Support Technicians will secure the call after all required conferees are present. Securing the call will prevent an uninvited guest from entering the conference call.
Instructions for Use:
Please keep in mind that the Meet-Me lines are setup for conference calls between three or more parties and is not required for two parties. This will prevent any unnecessary long distance costs.
